I am working with a key client of mine, a boutique family law firm based in Bournemouth, recognised in the Legal 500 for their expertise and client-focused approach. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to develop their career within a high-quality practice, working closely with experienced family solicitors on a varied and interesting caseload.
Family Paralegal Key Responsibilities- Assisting fee earners with a broad range of private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies, private children matters, and cohabitation disputes
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms
- Managing files from inception to conclusion under supervision
- Conducting legal research and preparing bundles for court hearings
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and other professionals in a professional and empathetic manner
- Ensuring files are maintained in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements
- Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within family law (essential) 1+ years experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A client-focused and empathetic approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in family law
- Competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000
