Are you a Repairs/Housing professional with Contracts Management experience? Do you set high organisational standards? Sellick Partnership is recruiting to a Contracts Manager in the Leicester area on an initial three-month temporary basis. The successful consultant will bring strong property repairs knowledge, proven project management capability, and hands-on experience of mobilising contracts.
Duties of the Contracts Manager includes:
- Supporting the organisation through a period of improvement
- Ensuring all procurement activity is compliant, commercially robust, and operationally deliverable
- Working closely with legal, finance, asset management, and operational teams
- Leading or supporting full contract mobilisation following award
- Working effectively with contractors and suppliers to drive readiness and performance
- Ensuring KPIs, service standards, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations are embedded
- Engaging with internal teams including repairs, asset management, compliance, and governance
- Providing specialist advice and challenge where required
Essential requirements for the Contracts Manager:
- Significant experience in a similar Housing/Local Authority/Construction role
- Great organisational skills
- Driving licence and capability to travel to the office for business meetings
- Experience procuring housing repairs and/or capital works contracts (preferred)
