Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager looking for an opportunity to lead large-scale technology programmes that genuinely make an impact? We're partnering with a successful international organisation headquartered in Bolton that is investing heavily in digital transformation. As the business continues to grow, they’re looking for an ambitious Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of high-profile technology projects, working alongside senior business leaders to deliver strategic change across multiple international locations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll lead the successful delivery of complex digital and IT programmes from concept through to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Working with business leaders, technology teams and external partners, you’ll:
- Lead multiple business-critical technology projects across an international portfolio.
- Own project governance, reporting and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Chair Steering Committees and provide clear visibility of project progress, risks and delivery performance.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, resource forecasts and delivery roadmaps.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies and budgets to keep programmes on track.
- Partner with third-party suppliers to ensure exceptional delivery and value.
- Drive business readiness, user adoption and successful transition into operational teams.
- Mentor Project Managers and champion best practice across the PMO.
What We’re Looking For
- You’ll be an experienced delivery professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on project leadership.
- You’ll ideally bring:
- Extensive experience delivering complex digital or technology projects.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent certification.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, RAID management, Stage Gates and executive reporting.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leadership.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
- A background in digital transformation, cloud, infrastructure or enterprise applications.
- Flexibility to travel internationally when required.
