About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PMO Analyst to join a growing organisation and play a key role in supporting project governance, portfolio reporting, and PMO operations.

Working within the Project Management Office (PMO), you will help ensure projects are delivered in line with governance standards by maintaining project documentation, supporting portfolio reporting, and improving PMO processes.

You'll work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide accurate reporting, monitor compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, analytical, and looking to develop their career within a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of PMO systems and tools, including portfolio management platforms and Share Point.
  • Maintain and update PMO governance documentation, including frameworks, templates, handbooks, and training materials.
  • Review project and portfolio information to ensure compliance with governance standards and PMO processes.
  • Support governance meetings and portfolio boards by validating documentation and maintaining project trackers.
  • Produce portfolio reports, dashboards, and management information to support project oversight and decision‑making.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to improve project data quality and governance compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO reporting, tools and processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and analytical support across the PMO function.

About You

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Project Management, Business or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within a PMO, project support or project coordination environment.
  • Knowledge of project governance, project controls, and PMO best practices.
  • Experience using project portfolio management tools, such as Service Now or similar systems.
  • Experience maintaining Share Point sites and governance documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
