Sellick Partnership is working with a well-established £30mil Turnover manufacturing business based Near Bolton. Following a recent transaction, the business is experiencing a period of change and needs an experienced Finance Manager to support them through this transition.
This is a hands-on, interim Finance Manager position where you'll be working across the full finance function. You'll be expected to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact, covering everything from day-to-day transactional accounting through to management reporting and systems improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing transactional accounting processes
- VAT returns and tax compliance
- Monthly management accounts preparation and reporting
- Supporting budget and forecast processes
- Overseeing finance systems and identifying process improvements
- Supporting and mentoring the finance team
- Working closely with senior management and external stakeholders
- Ad-hoc projects as required during the period of change
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong all-round finance experience at Finance Manager level
- Solid technical knowledge of transactional accounting, VAT, and tax compliance
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
- Strong systems knowledge (ERP experience highly desirable)
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in the detail
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Available to start immediately or at short notice

- Location: BOLTON (site-based)
- Duration: Initially 3 months with strong potential to extend
- Day Rate: £350-£400 per day (Outside IR35)
- Hours: Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
