A well-established North West law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant to join its busy Family team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department where you'll play a key role in ensuring matters run smoothly while working closely with an experienced solicitor and a friendly team.

The role will suit someone who enjoys a varied workload, takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a firm that genuinely values its support staff.

You’ll provide day‑to‑day support to a Family Solicitor, helping to manage a busy caseload and ensuring clients receive an excellent service throughout their matter. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Audio and copy typing
  • Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
  • Speaking with clients and third parties over the phone and by e‑mail
