Property and Compliance Manager (Hard & Soft FM) Birmingham, across sites 6 Months + 37 hours per week £(Apply online only) per day Sellick Partnership is delighted to partner with an organisation in the public sector seeking an experienced Facilities Compliance Manager to lead compliance, building safety and facilities management activities across a diverse multi-site estate. This is a hands-on interim role requiring someone who can take ownership of statutory compliance and facilities operations from day one, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and effectively maintained to support critical frontline services. The Property, Facilities & Compliance Manager role will include: Leading statutory compliance and building safety activities across multiple sites Acting as the lead officer for property compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and industry standards Managing compliance programmes relating to Fire Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, Gas Safety and Electrical Safety Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and statutory inspections Managing hard services including M&E systems, compliance certification and lifecycle planning Managing soft FM services including cleaning, security, waste and grounds maintenance Coordinating contractors and overseeing remedial works arising from inspections and audits Carrying out regular site inspections, compliance audits and risk assessments Maintaining accurate compliance records and monitoring certification across the estate Monitoring contractor performance against SLAs and KPIs Producing compliance reports and providing assurance to senior stakeholders Identifying operational improvements, risk mitigation measures and cost efficienciesEssential experience of the Facilities Compliance Manager includes: Extensive experience managing statutory compliance within a facilities, estates or property environment Strong knowledge of Fire Safety, Asbestos Management, Legionella Control, Gas Safety and Electrical Compliance Experience managing hard and soft facilities management services across multiple sites Proven experience managing contractors and third-party service providers Experience undertaking audits, inspections and compliance assurance activities Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicleDesirable experience includes: IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification IWFM qualification or equivalent professional membership Experience within public sector, education, healthcare, housing or regulated environments Experience reporting compliance performance and risk to senior leadership teamsIf you believe you are suited to the Facilities Compliance Manager role, please apply now.
