Sellick Partnership is delighted to partner with a Local Authority on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Management leader to join as an Interim Head of Facilities Management & Capital Projects. This is a key strategic leadership position responsible for driving the delivery, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of Facilities Management services across a diverse property portfolio.
As Head of FM your duties will include:
- Leading and developing the Facilities Management strategy across a complex property portfolio.
- Providing strategic oversight of FM operations, ensuring effective governance and service delivery.
- Overseeing property asset maintenance programmes and ensuring buildings are inspected and maintained in line with statutory requirements.
- Driving compliance across all aspects of property management, health and safety, and building-related legislation.
- Leading contractor and supplier management.
- Managing procurement activity relating to FM.
- Overseeing capital projects and lifecycle maintenance to ensure delivery within agreed budgets and timescales.
The successful FM candidate will have:
- Qualifications/ Degree in Facilities Management or related discipline CIWFM or equivalent professional accreditation.
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification.
