Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and confident working in a fast‑paced repairs environment? We are currently recruiting an experienced Planner to join a busy Property Repairs team on a temporary, ongoing basis.
This role is key in ensuring customers receive a high‑quality, right‑first‑time service by effectively scheduling and coordinating repair works across multiple trade teams.
Key Responsibilities of the Repairs Planner will include:- Work closely with Managers, Team Leads, Coordinators and Operatives across Repairs, Voids, Gas, Electrical and Infrastructure teams.
- Collaborate with Customer Services, Neighbourhood and Asset Teams to support a consistent approach to service delivery.
- Schedule and allocate work to maximise productivity, monitoring works daily and ensuring appointments stay within target timescales.
- Balance priorities based on customer need, risk and resource availability.
- Ensure customers are at the centre of decision‑making, resolving enquiries at first contact where possible.
- Update and maintain accurate records across scheduling systems and repairs databases.
- Respond to operational changes by reallocating resources or amending appointments.
- Support in reviewing and developing new procedures to enhance customer experience.
- Adhere to all policies including Health & Safety and Data Protection.
- Knowledge of the DRS system
- Experience working within property repairs or a similar scheduling function.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
