Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for a Principal Housing Lawyer to join a fantastic local authority in Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may not have previous management experience and is looking for the next step in their career!

As Principal Housing Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a small team, as well as looking after your own caseload of housing law matters, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Disrepair
  • Breach of tenancy agreements
  • Homelessness
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • General housing law advice

This role may include some hybrid attendance at office/court, however can offer a lot of flexibility. The role will provide the opportunity to get involved in housing governance.

Experience gained within a local government or housing association setting is desirable; experience gained within the private sector can also be considered.
