Type: Interim 3-month Contract Hybrid: Ideally, 2 days in the office per week Sellick Partnership is partnering with a Local Authority organisation to recruit a Senior Auditor on an interim basis. Delivering a programme of risk-focused internal audits across a range of council services Leading audit assignments from planning and scoping through to reporting and follow-up Assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control arrangements Providing audit advice, consultancy and supporting investigations into complex issues, irregularities or fraud where required. Demonstrable experience within a Local Authority internal audit function A strong grasp of risk-based auditing methodologies and control frameworks Experience delivering risk-based internal audits across complex, technical, political or sensitive areas within a Local Authority environment. CCAB, CMIIA, PIIA or AAT qualified, or part-qualified with substantial relevant internal audit experience.
