Location: Remote working with occasional presence – Home Counties
Duration: 3-6 months
Money on offer: Hourly rate – circa £18.72 to £25 an hour PAYE
Experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader sought for a local government organisation based in the Home Counties, on an interim basis for a period of minimum three months, however likely to be closer to six months.
You will be an expert in accounts payable, purchase to pay processes, customer relations, looking at processes and identifying better ways of working.
The Accounts Payable Team Leader will be responsible for:
Management of the Accounts Payable team, currently 3 people
Apply knowledge of Accounts Payable and contribute to projects improving Purchase to Pay processes
Create reliable reporting mechanisms to assist Assistant Directors (ADs)
Reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger and Purchase Ordering systems to General Ledger control Accounts.
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Team Leader role should have:
Extensive experience within Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay at a Supervisory level
Public Sector experience is desirable but not essential
People management skills
Experience with organisations going through change
Desirable: the use of Integra Centros
Ability to manage own workload, coping with changing priorities in a flexible and proactive way
Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a complex environment to deliver the team\’s functions.
