Location – Chesterfield, North Derbyshire (office, site-based, and home working available)

Salary – £35,672 per annum, rising incrementally to £38,592 plus car allowance

Permanent – Full Time

About the Role

As a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor you will manage the trade operatives and be responsible for the operational delivery and commercial viability of the services in the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be directly responsible for all aspects of developing and supervising the Repairs and Maintenance Operatives.
  • Manage the workforce, planning functions, and all associated processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with the administration department to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
  • Set and monitor operational targets and ensure achievement of performance indicators.
  • Assist in managing the service within pre‑agreed cost and time parameters.
  • Ensure effective communication with tenant and client representatives.
  • Ensure operational systems are updated in a timely fashion and produce accurate management reports.
  • Work effectively with other Supervisors to provide consistent management of all operatives and contractors.

About You

  • Relevant trade background experience
  • At least 3 years experience of supervising/managing Operatives
  • Strong communication skills
