Sellick Partnership are delighted to work with an excellent local authority based in Yorkshire who are seeking a Licensing Lawyer to join them on a locum basis, for an initial period of 3‑6 months but expected to be a long‑term rolling contract.
Location & Hours: Yorkshire - Hybrid. 1‑2 days per week. Part‑time hours are well suited, but full‑time hours are also considered if desired.
Responsibilities:
- Attend in‑person licensing sub‑committees at the council and appeal hearings in Yorkshire.
- Work with an experienced, friendly, and cohesive team and may be combined with a caseload of prosecutions and/or anti‑social behaviour enforcement cases.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEx).
- Experience in licensing or related legal practice is desirable.
