Senior Construction Solicitor Construction Company London Permanent £80,000 – 95,000 depending on experience Sellick Partnership is excited to work alongside an organisation responsible for delivering one of the country’s largest infrastructure projects, in finding a Senior Construction Lawyer to join their in-house legal function. The successful Construction Solicitor would be working closely with the General Counsel on a major project, involving a range of interesting legal work. They will also gain invaluable experience regarding the inner workings of an in-house legal function. This role will be suited to an experienced Construction Solicitor that has experience of working on large infrastructure projects but also has experience within commercial, procurement and contracts. This role is based in London and the ideal candidate would be able to attend the office in central London on a hybrid basis. As a Senior Construction Solicitor, your role will include, but is not limited to: Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contractual documentation relating to Construction Law including – collateral warranties, framework agreements, joint venture agreements NEC and FIDIC Working with high-profile internal and external stakeholders and building relationships Working closely with the procurement team on commercial projects Assist with small-value litigation claims This role would ideally suit a candidate with strong experience gained working in construction/engineering either in-house or within Private Practice.
