We are currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join a well-regarded local authority in the southwest region. The successful Childcare Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of public law children matters, including care proceedings and pre-proceedings work.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing a full caseload of childcare matters
Providing legal advice on all aspects of public law children’s work
Drafting legal documentation, including statements and threshold documents

The ideal candidate will be available to join the authority within the next few weeks to offer fulltime hours on a remote basis. Some adhoc attendance in the office for team away days would be welcomed although not essential.
