Sellick Partnership are proud to be recruiting for an Education Lawyer to join a reputable local authority in the North West on a locum basis while the council undertake permanent recruitment.
Responsibilities of the Education Lawyer include:
- Managing a caseload of complex cases, comprising mainly SEN admission appeals, with minimum supervision.
- Advise on Education law generally, including the preparation of proceedings in relation to Schools and Academies, parents, and pupils.
Although prior experience within Local Government would be preferred, it is not essential. The successful Education Lawyer will ideally be able to undertake this role on a full-time basis; however, candidates seeking a part-time working pattern will be considered. Ideally some attendance but can consider remote candidates.
