Senior Planning Solicitor
London Borough Council
Hybrid Working Arrangements
£61,836 – £64,032
We are delighted to be working alongside our London Borough Council client to find a Senior Planning Solicitor to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
The successful Senior Planning Solicitor will be required to:
- Have extensive knowledge and experience working in planning, highways, transport, administrative law and environmental work
- Undertake a varied and wide caseload of the more complex work while assisting the team
- Attend the office twice per week
- Deputise for the Principal Lawyer as appropriate
- Ensure that legal advice and assistance is provided efficiently
- Manage and co-ordinate the work of staff and provide advice and guidance
- Attend committees as directed – there are usually three committees every two months
- Deal with the preparation of the more complex or unique forms of documents, reports and agreements
- Hold an up to date practising certificate – Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
