Sellick Partnership are working with a London-based local authority seeking a Housing Lawyer on an interim basis. The role will be offered on an initial 3-month contract, with potential for this to be extended and can accommodate a hybrid working arrangement.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of local authority statutory duties and substantial, recent experience in the following:

  • Homelessness
  • Advocacy covering injunction hearings

You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with thorough knowledge of civil litigation and housing law, ideally gained from working in local government. Candidates with extensive knowledge from the private sector or other public sector organisations may also be considered.
