Job Description

Locum SEN Lawyer We are currently supporting one of our long-standing Local Authority clients in recruiting an experienced SEN lawyer to join the team on an ongoing locum basis.

The role would be to act as the sole SEN lawyer for the Authority.

Duties would include: Provide expert legal advice, representation, and case management on matters relating to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Support the Council's statutory duties under the Children and Families Act 2014 and related legislation, ensuring lawful, fair, and effective decision-making in the best interests of children and young people.

Holding most complex tribunal cases - preparing and attending hearings Providing advice and support across the wider SEND team Delivery of training

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with extensive experience in SEN law.
