Sellick Partnership are recruiting for a Childcare Legal Assistant to join a friendly and supportive local authority in the North West on a locum basis. The role is expected to last for 6 months initially with the likelihood of extension.
As a Childcare Legal Assistant, you will provide support to the childcare team. Your duties will include a wide range of tasks, including typing, preparation of Court bundles, post duties, opening and closing files and administering the case management system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to draft applications
- Prepare bundles
- File and serve
- Keep timetables up to date
- Indicate understanding of Data Protection Principles
This role is full-time and while hybrid working would be preferable, remote candidates will be considered. Applicants must be able to start work at short notice. Experience within Childcare Law is necessary, and while public sector background is desirable, those from Private Practice backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
