Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working with a well-respected Council in London to recruit to a rare opportunity for a locum Newly Qualified Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. The assignment will begin on an initial 3 month locum contract with a view for extension.
The successful NQ Childcare Lawyer will be working on a hybrid basis with a requirement to be in the office one-two days per week. Our client is seeking a newly qualified Childcare Lawyer who can hit the ground running and come on board as soon as possible to assist with a varied childcare caseload. You will be holding a small caseload of less complex care proceedings and pre-proceedings (PLO). Please note that advocacy is not required in this role.
A practising certificate is an essential requirement for the successful candidate. The local authority is open to considering applications from Childcare Lawyers from both public and private sector backgrounds as long as relevant public childcare experience is demonstrated. NQ Lawyers from local government are highly desirable for this position.
