Sellick Partnership is pleased to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Authority on a fully remote basis.

This is an initial 3-month assignment , with a strong possibility of extension, offering a competitive hourly rate.

The successful Litigation Lawyer will manage a varied caseload, covering a broad range of local authority litigation matters, including prosecutions, debt recovery, and education law.

Responsibilities will include: Managing a mixed litigation caseload from instruction through to conclusion Providing legal advice on prosecutions, debt recovery, education law, and related litigation matters Drafting pleadings, witness statements, court applications, and other legal documentation Advising officers across the authority on a range of contentious matters Attending hearings and representing the authority where required This role can be fully remote for the duration of the assignment, offering excellent flexibility with no requirement to attend the office.

We are keen to hear from Litigation Lawyers with previous Local Authority experience who are comfortable handling a varied caseload and can quickly integrate into the team.
