About the Role:
Sellick Partnership is looking for an Interim Deputy Monitoring Officer to join a local government team for a minimum period of 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a competent, respectable team.
Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Monitoring Officer:
- Heading up the legal department as well as taking on DMO duties
- Reporting directly to the Monitoring Officer
- Attending committee and full council meetings
They are a small team so if someone has some litigation or planning experience, then it would be beneficial.
Desirable Skills and Requirements:
- Looking for someone senior and strategic
- Previous experience as an MO or DMO
- Previous experience working in the public sector
