Overview of the Planning Lawyer role

Sellick Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a County Council in the home counties on the recruitment of a Planning Lawyer, on a Fixed-Term basis. Our client is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join them on a fixed-term for 12 months, to provide high-quality legal advice and support the council. This opportunity can be offered on a predominantly remote working basis, with attendance required quarterly as a minimum.

Key responsibilities of the Planning Lawyer role

  • Drafting and negotiating S106 Agreements
  • Reviewing and amending committee reports
  • Providing advice on planning matters

Required experience for the Planning Lawyer

To be considered for this local authority Planning Lawyer position, you will have:

  • A qualification as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive, with current practising certificate
  • Prior experience within Planning Law
