Sellick Partnership are pleased to be recruiting for a Housing Litigation Lawyer to join a well-established London Local Authority on a rolling locum contract basis. This is a fantastic post for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or equivalent, who is wanting to grow their experience in public sector housing litigation work. Local authority experience is highly desirable, but they are open to considering other sectors with transferable skills.
The successful candidate must have experience providing professional legal advice on all aspects of Housing Litigation work. The successful Housing Litigation Lawyer will have significant experience in Housing Law and at least one of the following areas:
- Homelessness
The Housing and Litigation team are very friendly and supportive, and can offer some training where appropriate. This post will suit an ambitious team player who will be able to adapt well within the local authority. Our client is happy to consider candidates from either a public sector or private practice background.
The role will involve office presence once a week and there may be the requirement to attend Court hearings in person. The role is locum initially for 3 months and is highly likely to be extended long term.
