The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
This is a great opportunity to join our Local Authority client and take on a varied caseload of civil and highways litigation matters.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the Council and a National Park Authority, providing comprehensive advice on a range of litigious matters
- Contentious highways matters such as obstruction of highways, service of notices under the Highways Act 1980 & advising on landslip liabilities
- Property litigation (e.g. tenancy issues, rent arrears, farm business tenancies)
- Debt recovery
- Judicial reviews and statutory challenges
- Traveller evictions
- Data protection tribunal appeals
- Criminal/regulatory enforcement matters if experience allows
This is a fully remote role. Both full and part-time hours will be considered. The client is seeking a candidate who has substantial experience working in litigation for local government. You must be willing to learn new areas of law to be able to provide fast-paced legal advice on a range of topics.
