Locum Information Governance Lead £300 - 500 per day North West Full Time/Part Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Lead, offering you an exciting opportunity to support the information governance processes of the public sector organisation.

The role is initially for 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension while recruiting on a permanent basis.

As Information Governance Lead, your work will be varied across the whole range of information governance activity and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Management of one Data Protection Officer Particular focus on support Freedom of Information and Data Protection processes Co-ordinating response processes across all the directorates in the organisation Preparing responses for those requests requiring public interest considerations Ensuring the Council complies with the associated statutory requirements and deadlines for performance The role can be worked on a remote basis aside from IT collection on the first day.

Public sector experience is preferable, however our client may be happy to consider experience gained in other sectors.
