Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with an excellent local authority based in Yorkshire who are seeking a Licensing Lawyer to join them on a locum basis, for a period of 3-6 months initially, but expected to be a long-term rolling contract. This role would be well-suited to part-time hours, such as 1-2 days per week. However, full-time hours will also be considered as this role could be combined with a caseload of prosecutions and/or anti-social behaviour enforcement cases, if desired.
The successful locum Licensing Lawyer will attend in-person licensing sub-committees at the council and appeal hearings in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEx). You will be joining an experienced, friendly and cohesive team and you will receive a competitive market pay rate.
