Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a public sector organisation seeking an experienced Inquest Paralegal to support in a high-profile inquest matter.

The Role

  • Assist with all aspects of inquest preparation, including:
    • Providing general legal support throughout the life of the matter
    • Assisting with case management and hearing preparation
    • Liaising with Counsel
    • Reviewing disclosed material
    • Redacting documentation
    • Preparing inquest bundles

To be considered, you should have:

  • Previous experience working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Officer
  • Experience within local government, the public sector or a litigation environment
  • Knowledge of coronial law and practice, or alternatively strong civil litigation experience
  • Excellent organisational and document management skills
  • The ability to manage large volumes of information and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
