Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a public sector organisation seeking an experienced Inquest Paralegal to support in a high-profile inquest matter.
The Role
- Assist with all aspects of inquest preparation, including:
- Providing general legal support throughout the life of the matter
- Assisting with case management and hearing preparation
- Liaising with Counsel
- Reviewing disclosed material
- Redacting documentation
- Preparing inquest bundles
To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Officer
- Experience within local government, the public sector or a litigation environment
- Knowledge of coronial law and practice, or alternatively strong civil litigation experience
- Excellent organisational and document management skills
- The ability to manage large volumes of information and work to deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
