Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Paralegal to join a busy Legal Team within a Local Authority in North West England on a fully remote, temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with recent children's law experience, ideally within public law childcare matters, to join a supportive legal team and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Solicitors with a caseload of childcare matters
- Requesting disclosure and collating relevant case documentation
- Liaising with external parties to obtain evidence and court documents
- Attending meetings and taking accurate minutes
- Providing high-quality administrative and legal support to the wider team
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within a local authority setting
- Recent experience within childcare/public law matters
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within a remote working environment
