This is a fantastic opportunity for a law graduate at the start of their legal career, looking to gain some experience in a varied inhouse local authority legal role. You will be assisting the legal team in a range of matters within the areas of planning law, information governance and litigation; supporting the lawyers with a range of duties such as:
- Collating bundles
- Supporting the solicitors with s106 agreements
- Dealing with freedom of information and subject access requests
- Updating the case management system
- Managing the legal inbox
- Redaction
- General administrative tasks
This is initially a 6-month locum role with the possibility of it leading to a permanent role within the team. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to attend the Council offices 3 days per week.
