Our client, a Local Authority based in Essex is seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join their Legal Services team on a locum basis, to assist with a range of civil and criminal litigation matters. Whilst full-time hours would be preferred, a part-time working pattern could be considered. This position can be based predominantly remotely, however court attendance will be required on occasion.
Responsibilities of the Litigation Lawyer:
- Undertake a range of civil litigation work, to include injunctions, housing litigation, charging order for sale, debt recovery
- Undertake a range of criminal litigation, to include planning prosecutions and licensing appeals
- Attend court hearings, as required
