Locum Education Lawyer β London Local Authority
3 month+ locum contract
Β£45 β Β£55 per hour (depending on experience)
A well-known London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Education Lawyer to join them on a locum basis.
Responsibilities
- Join the London Council on an initial 3-month locum contract, with the likelihood of extension on a rolling basis.
- Attend the office approximately once per fortnight (negotiable).
- Attend tribunals as required.
- Manage a caseload of SEN cases, advise on education law, and work on SEND tribunals.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified and hold a current practising certificate (Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx).
- Experience managing SEN cases, advising on education law, and working on SEND tribunals.
- Experience in associated guidance is preferable.

This will be a great opportunity for a determined Education Lawyer to capitalise on their expertise, work independently, and take on a varied and interesting caseload.
