About the Role:
Sellick Partnership is looking for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a large local authority legal team in the East Midlands. This role is offered on an initial 3 month basis but is likely to go on for a lot longer than that!
Key Responsibilities of a Childcare Lawyer:
- To advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the protection and care of children
- To competently carry a caseload of public childcare matters
- To advocate, when necessary, at the Family Court
- To provide policy advice and specialist Childcare services
Desirable Skills and Requirements of a Childcare Lawyer:
- Previous experience working in the public sector/local authorities
- Previous experience handling childcare cases
