Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a London based Local Authority to source an interim Head of Commercial to line manage the Planning, Property, and Contracts teams whilst also deputising for the Monitoring Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and welcoming legal team.

As Head of Commercial you will be an integral part of a professional legal team delivering legal advice and support to all aspects of the Council's services. On offer is a flexible working arrangement, competitive hourly rate, interesting caseload, and a supportive team and environment.

The ideal candidate is someone who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and be confident and robust in managing difficult situations. You will be a team player, have a flexible approach to work and possess strong client care skills and be able to market the council's services effectively and efficiently.

You will be a qualified Solicitor/Barrister/Chartered Legal Executive with a current Practising Certificate and experience in a local government setting.
