A reputable local authority in London is seeking to recruit an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their well-established team.

The Adult Social Care Lawyer will join the London Council on an initial 3 month locum contract, with the potential to extend further. Office attendance is flexible and usually required twice per month. Fully remote working may be considered for the right candidate, depending on location and experience. Full time hours are preferred, but requests for a 4-day week will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be required to manage a mixed caseload of Adult Social Care matters including:

  • Court of Protection (COP)
  • Ordinary Residence
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)
  • Care Act
  • Mental Capacity Act

This will be a great opportunity for a determined Lawyer to develop their expertise, and take on a varied and interesting caseload, within an accomplished team.
