Job Description
The Role
This position offers the opportunity to manage a busy and varied residential conveyancing caseload within a supportive and collaborative team. The role would suit a solicitor who is comfortable working autonomously while delivering a high standard of client service.Key responsibilities include:Managing a full residential property caseload, including sales, purchases and re-mortgagesHandling freehold and leasehold transactionsAdvising clients throughout the conveyancing process and ensuring matters progress efficientlyDrafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentationLiaising with clients, agents, lenders and third partiesEnsuring compliance with regulatory and internal proceduresWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the firmContributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
Skills & Experience
Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancingAbility to manage files independently with minimal supervisionStrong organisational and time-management skillsConfident and professional client-facing mannerExcellent communication and attention to detailExperience using case management systemsDesirable:Experience handling complex or high-value transactionsFamiliarity with leasehold and new-build matters
