We are working with an established firm who is looking for a Residential Property Conveyancer/ Executive, to join their Middlesbrough office. This firm has significant presence across Yorkshire, and following sustained growth, they have begun expanding their coverage into the North East.
The role involves managing a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters from file opening to completion. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of freehold and leasehold transactions and be able to work with minimum supervision. They will also be motivated and able to create and maintain a solid client base in and around the area and will pride themselves on delivering a first class service throughout the entire conveyancing process.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing residential conveyancing matters at all stages, from taking initial client instructions through to completion and archiving.
- Taking and advising on client instructions, ensuring clear guidance is provided throughout the conveyancing process.
- Preparing, reviewing and managing all necessary file documentation efficiently and accurately.
- Handling billing matters and ensuring monies due to the firm are recovered from clients and third parties.
- Working with minimal supervision while taking on delegated supervisory responsibilities.
What you will need:
- Ideally, 2 years' experience in dealing with conveyancing matters.
- Excellent written English to produce documents for the clients, court and other parties.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective manner.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
