Are you a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor looking for locum/temp work? We have an opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a firm in Newcastle ASAP. Part-time or full-time applications are considered.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all types of residential property transactions (sales, purchases, leaseholds, new builds, remortgages, shared ownership, and transfers of equity) from start to finish.
- Keep clients updated, answer their questions, and guide them through the process clearly and professionally.
- Review contracts, title documents, searches, mortgage offers, and other paperwork to make sure everything is in order.
- Prepare contracts, transfer forms, and reports for clients and other parties involved.
- Ensure all work follows legal rules, firm policies, and CQS standards.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
- Able to manage a broad range of residential property matters independently - including sales, purchases, leaseholds, new builds, shared ownership, and equity transfers - from instruction through to completion.
