We're working with a highly regarded regional law firm looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy and successful Real Estate team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative department supporting experienced fee earners on a broad range of commercial property matters. You'll play a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly while working in a supportive environment that offers excellent long-term career development.
You'll be supporting matters including:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant transactions
- Leases and licences
- Property finance matters
- Post-completion work, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
You'll provide high-level secretarial and administrative support, prepare and amend legal documentation, manage diaries and correspondence, liaise with clients and third parties, assist with billing and file management, and help ensure matters are progressed efficiently from instruction through to completion.
What could make you stand out?
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant within a Real Estate or Commercial Property team.
- Strong understanding of commercial property transactions and post-completion processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident communication and client care skills.
- Experience using case management systems, digital dictation and Microsoft Office.
