We are recruiting on behalf of a respected law firm looking to hire a Contentious Construction Solicitor to join its specialist disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle complex and high-value construction disputes for a diverse client base, including contractors, developers, consultants, and insurers. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction disputes involving delays, defects, payment issues, and professional negligence
- Act on matters via adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and litigation
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Provide strategic advice on dispute avoidance and risk management
- Work closely with clients to deliver commercially focused solutions
- Assist with business development and client retention
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor (2-6 years PQE or equivalent experience)
- Background in construction litigation or commercial disputes
- Strong advocacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
