An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded and busy dispute resolution team based in Reading. This position offers the chance to handle high-quality work, collaborate with leading lawyers, and progress your career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including contract, shareholder, partnership, and professional negligence matters.
  • Advise a diverse range of clients from national corporates and SMEs to private individuals.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and High Court proceedings.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers on complex matters while maintaining responsibility for your own files.
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
  • Broad experience in handling contentious commercial matters.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and drafting skills.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commercially focused with a proactive and client-driven approach.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple matters efficiently.
