Key Responsibilities of the Private Client Solicitor:

  • Running and progressing a caseload including Estate Administration, Estate Planning (IHT planning, Care Home Fee planning, Wills, LPAs, and trusts), and some Court of Protection work.
  • Delivering on agreed cases, sourcing new opportunities, and supporting the overall profile of the team.
  • Proactively attracting work according to the firm's Business Development strategy.
  • Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and building appropriate relationships with clients.
  • Adhering to agreed quality procedures and management systems.
  • Undertaking and delivering work in a commercially effective manner.
  • Developing technical and non-technical skills to meet client and firm requirements and demonstrating continuous improvement in all areas of work.

Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Private Client Solicitor:

  • Relevant professional qualifications with strong legal skills and knowledge in a Private Client setting.
  • Experience managing a broad and varied caseload including Wills, Care Home Fees, IHT planning, trusts, LPAs, Estate Administration, and some routine Court of Protection work.
