An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate Corporate Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join a growing and dynamic team based in Oxford. This role offers the chance to be part of an expanding office while working on high-quality, specialist corporate matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. This is not a traditional corporate role focused on general M&A. Instead, the position centres on complex and high-value investment work, offering exposure to a sophisticated and niche client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on a range of investment-focused corporate matters, including private equity and venture capital transactions
- Supporting on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex investment deals
- Working closely with the London team on high-value, multi-jurisdictional matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the team
- Supervising and supporting junior lawyers where appropriate
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in corporate law
- Strong experience in investment work (e.g. private equity, venture capital, or similar), rather than purely M&A-focused transactions
- Technically strong with excellent attention to detail
- Confident handling complex matters and working collaboratively
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ambitious and motivated to be part of a growing office
