Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a leading law firm in Leeds who are looking to expand their Construction team. This is a great opportunity for a keen construction lawyer to make a name for themselves.
Your responsibilities will include:
Non-contentious:
Providing advice on and reviewing construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)Assisting with drafting appointments for the professional teamCollaborating with property and energy teams on construction-related documentsConducting due diligence for construction deals linked to bank transactionsContentious:Advising on possible disputes during construction projectsRepresenting clients in adjudications, arbitrations, and court cases, and preparing related documentsAttending hearings and meetings with clientsResearching legal documents and case law to ensure correct adviceNegotiating with other parties on behalf of clients
The successful candidate will be:
