Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a top-tier Legal 500 law firm that is looking for an NQ Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their team in Leeds.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategy in commercial disputes.
  • Assess case merits, manage risk, and provide clear, practical legal advice.
  • Handle all stages of litigation, from pre-action matters through trial and enforcement.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, legal submissions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and commercial issues.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution (e.g., mediation, arbitration).
  • Manage disclosure processes, review documents, and prepare trial bundles.
  • Liaise with clients, barristers, courts, and other professionals throughout the case.
  • Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and professional regulations.
  • Support business development by maintaining client relationships and staying updated on legal trends.

The successful candidate:

  • NQ solicitor with a strong interest in Commercial Litigation law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
