Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a national, Legal 500 ranked firm in Manchester who are looking for an Employment Senior Associate to join their team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advise clients on employment law issues like discrimination, wrongful dismissal, and employee rights.
- Represent clients in employment disputes and tribunal claims.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, including handling grievances and performance management.
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and legal documents.
- Support business development and maintain client relationships.
- Keep clients updated on changes in employment law.
- Mentor and support junior associates in their development.
- Lead negotiations and settlements for the best client outcomes.
The successful candidate:
- 8 + years PQE in Employment Law.
- Skilled in handling employment disputes and representing clients in tribunal claims.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and employment policies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Ability to manage employee relations and workplace issues.
- Experience in mentoring junior associates.
