An Employment Solicitor is required to join an award-winning, UK Top 50 Law Firm based in London on a full-time permanent basis. This is an opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to become a member of an established law firm that upholds its reputation for providing exceptional service to its clientele.
Title: Employment Associate
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE
Contract: Full-time permanent
Location: London
Key Responsibilities of the Employment Associate:
- Providing a quality, tailored, and supportive legal service to a wide range of clients
- Handling general work issues, like maternity rights and contract concerns
- Writing service agreements, employment contracts, and staff handbooks
- Creating and reviewing workplace policies on performance, sickness, misconduct, maternity, and parental leave
- Providing support for corporate transactions
- Dealing with wrongful or unfair dismissal cases
- Managing redundancy and restructuring situations
- Handling the Transfer of Undertakings
- Helping senior executives with job negotiations, including complex pay and benefits
- Representing clients in employment tribunal cases
- Advising on discrimination issues (sex, race, disability, age)
- Offering guidance on international or offshore work placements
- General queries about flexible working, maternity rights, paternity rights, etc.
- Corporate support
