A well regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing and Private Client Locum to provide maternity cover for a Partner from mid November. This is an excellent opportunity for a locum looking for a longer‑term assignment, offering continuity, responsibility, and the chance to play a key role within an established practice for 6‑12 months.
The Role
- Managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload
- Providing guidance and oversight to the Private Client team
- Supervising fee earners and support staff where required
- Maintaining high standards of client care and file management
- Assisting with departmental management and operational matters during the Partner's absence
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced Fee Earner
- Strong residential conveyancing experience
- Working knowledge of Private Client matters, including wills and probate
- Previous supervisory, managerial, or team leadership experience
- Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into an established team
